Responsibilities and Duties

• Identify customer needs and provide a positive customer experience by guiding them to suitable food and services.

• Understand the ingredients and characteristics of the food provided by IKEA Food, and accurately guide and share relevant information with customers and colleagues.

• Actively communicate and collaborate with colleagues to create smooth store operations and positive customer experiences together. • Perform various on-site tasks necessary for operating a food and beverage store, such as moving ingredients and supplies or performing repetitive tasks while standing for long periods.

• Comply with internal regulations and operational procedures regarding quality and food safety, and maintain the store in a clean and organized state at all times.

• Efficiently manage sales space and inventory using a sales location management system, and maintain accurate price displays and appropriate product quantities.

• Understand the goals of the store and department, and perform assigned duties responsibly to achieve those goals.

• Reduce food waste by considering costs and sustainability, and adhere to standard cooking methods and provide appropriate portion sizes.
