Recruitment Notice for Speech Therapist at ⌜Neulpureunnamu Lifelong Education Center⌟
The ⌜Neulpureunnamu Lifelong Education Center⌟, affiliated with the Uiseong Branch of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Association of Parents of the Disabled, is recruiting a professional and passionate speech therapist as follows to lead the healthy growth and communication ability improvement of children with developmental disabilities and children eligible for special education support.
1. Target and Number of Hires
A. Recruitment Field: Speech Therapist (Responsible for Developmental Rehabilitation Services and Special Education Therapy Support Services)
B. Number of Openings: 1 person
C. Employment Type: Choice between Permanent and Contract (Days and hours negotiable)
2. Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications
A. Mandatory Qualifications
▪ Major in a relevant field (Speech Therapy, Speech Pathology, etc.)
▪ Holder of a Speech Rehabilitation Therapist (Therapist) license (issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare or a relevant agency)
▪ No disqualifying factors upon criminal background check regarding sex offenses or child abuse
B. Preferred Qualifications
▪ Experience in speech therapy for children with developmental disabilities or children eligible for special education support
▪ Eligibility to register as a service provider for vouchers (developmental rehabilitation services) and therapy support services issued by the Office of Education
▪ Experience working at social welfare institutions or lifelong education institutions
▪ Preference given to holders of additional relevant certifications
3. Main Responsibilities
A. 1:1 speech therapy (developmental rehabilitation and therapy support) for children with developmental disabilities and children eligible for special education support
B. Establishment and evaluation of individualized treatment plans
C. Parent counseling, writing of treatment logs, and related administrative tasks
D. Treatment evaluation, counseling, and record management
E. Assistance with internal program operations
4. Working Conditions
A. Workplace: Neulpureunnamu Lifelong Education Center Therapy Room (4th Floor, 6 Bukbu-gil, Uiseong-eup, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk)
B. Working Days and Hours: 5 days a week (e.g., Monday to Friday, negotiable; working hours negotiable for part-time positions)
C. Salary Conditions: Commission-based or hourly wage (according to internal regulations / negotiable based on experience)
Must be able to teach developmental rehabilitation classes; concurrent employment with other institutions is permitted.
